The Brightened Little White Dress

Even though wearing white/cream is a really bad idea in India (it picks up dirt in less than 15 minutes and is a nightmare to wash afterwards), it’s about the only thing that is appealing to me right now in this oppressive Delhi heat. I have always been a fan of wearing a monochromatic white look (especially an all white salwar kameez!), but since I have been favoring little white dresses a bit too much this summer, I have to constantly find new ways to wear them again. A fun and summer-friendly way to revamp your look is to pair your dress up with colored accessories. Because it’s so hot, I generally prefer to keep the look clean by skipping the jewelry and just accentuating the outfit with a pair of bright shoes. But you can also go the Jamie Chung route (shown above) and add bright/neon statement jewelry. Because a breezy, easy-t0-style look is all you need in the summer, right?!
