Hey ladies, I’m back! And I’m majorly car lagged! Although the trip was not exactly the relaxing, rejuvenating vacation one hopes for after exams, it was fun nevertheless. We split the week between Niagara Falls and Toronto and spent our days absorbing all the scenery, stuffing ourselves with unhealthy food (hate this part!!), people watching, and being wannabe-professional photographers.

Maid of the Mist -- The boat that eventually got us all wet and where we wore blue raincoats that made us look like aliens

Boldt Castle, Thousand Islands, where we stopped on our way back to NYC. My future husband totally needs to build me one of these!
As expected, Toronto was pretty similar to New York, except a gazillion times colder. Locals were walking around comfortably in their skimpy shorts and tank tops while we were shivering and cursing ourselves for not packing warmer clothes! And then there were women lying around in their bathing suits in some park trying to get a tan and we were like, “Hmm, must be some invisible sun that only Canadians can see and feel!”
Another highlight of the trip was that I was ID-ed at the Casino and though this used to really annoy me when I was younger, I totally took it as a compliment this time! I think I even scared the lady when I said, “You mean you DON’T BELIEVE that I’m older than 21?? THANK YOU woman!!” I should have hugged her too, she made my day!!
On a side note, I’ve also been acting like a tourist back in New York City. You see, we have guests over, and so we’ve been showing them around. Here are some pictures my sister and I took of over here.
Well, that’s it!! I know I got carried away with the pics but that’s pretty much all I have been doing lately!!
Hope you all had a good week too
More posts coming up later this week, so come right back!
Kisses,
SK
P.S.- I saw at least four women wearing scrunchies on the trip. Yes, Sonali, they are officially back to haunt us!!

@ Nostalgic – I know it’s really boring of me, but I try to avoid boisterous, crowded places as much as I can.. I prefer quiet, secluded places. We have this joke as well where all my guy friends ask me what my intentions are every time I say, let’s go to a place where there’s no one!!
@ Dipti: lol @ I thought I was a Goddess…where the hell do you come up with this stuff..hilarious!!
