There are cameras. Then, there are cameras that come loaded with the ‘wow-factor’. Here are two of my favorites:

Fujifilm’s FinePix Real 3D W1 Camera

With this camera, you do not click pictures – you capture the moment, literally! The dual lens of this camera serves as our eyes processes all that we see around us in three-dimensions. Instant 3D picture is what FinePix Real 3D W1 will click for you. You can check out the pictures in 3D in the display behind the camera.

I’ve had the opportunity to click pictures using this camera, and seen them on the camera. But I wanted more. I wanted to see these pictures in a larger screen. Sad part though is that these pictures cannot be transferred onto the PC and seen in 3D. But the good news is that you can buy FinePix REAL 3D V1 Photo Frame which is meant for storing and displaying the pictures you click using this camera.

Pssst! You can also switch off the 3D mode and use this camera as a regular point and shoot camera. However, the picture quality in the regular mode is only average. Then again, you won’t be buying this camera for regular photography, right?

Nikon Coolpix S1000pj

Don’t we all wish that the pictures we click should be able to jump out of the camera? Just a li’l short of it, Coolpix S1000pj lets you beam the pictures from the camera itself. First of its kind – this camera has a projection lamp fit right into the front panel. Can you really resist from saying wow?
I’ve had the luck to get my hands on this one as well. It is a fantastic point and shoot camera, with great picture quality. As for the projection capability, I tried it in a dim-lit room and I was very impressed with what it did. I decided to put it to test even more, and I moved away with the camera from the projected image for about 8-10 feet; I still remained impressed. In fact, the projected image looks much more rich and crisp till it stretches till about 40 inches or so.

As a point and shoot camera, Coolpix S1000pj is pretty impressive. However, the price tag due its projection capability is something not many pockets will really like. Then again, like the FinePix Real 3D W1 Camera, you wont be buying the Coolpix S1000pj for just regular photography, right?
