I think we can all agree that hats are truly having a moment. Sure, they are a summer staple, but the last time they were this top of mind for me was when I was in 8th grade during the late 90s! This year though, I think they will definitely be replacing headbands as my most-worn hair accessory of the summer. Although all styles are pretty hot right now, I find myself gravitating the most towards fedoras and 70s style floppy hats (the wider the brim, the better!). While fedoras, trilby, and bowler hats would look great with short, breezy skirts and dresses, I picture floppy and other wide-brim styles complimenting flared jeans, maxi skirts and dresses, high-waist shorts, and printed jumpsuits and rompers.
Here are a couple of my favorite finds below $100. The colored ones would look so cute when contrasted with other colors in an outfit!

In Numerical Order: River Island Cloche Hat With Bow, Urban Outfitters Belted Twill Fedora, Catarzi Lady Hat, Zara Two-Tone Wide Brim Hat With Bow, Eric Javits Braid Dame Hat, Topshop Straw Bow Cloche Hat, Kate Spade Stripe Straw Hat, Tarnish Straw Fedora
Hats are definitely going to be seen in plenty on the streets come summer, and I canβt wait to see the different ways in which people style them. My only worry is that they might start making summer versions of these. That would just be tragic! *Shudders* :S

I love fedoras and cloches – they look so chic! I always carry one when I travel so that I can cover up my messy hair when I land..
That’s a great tip!
Love the one Kate Middleton is wearing π
