Hey, everyone! So, I always talk about all the trends that I love, but today I thought it would be fun to talk about the ones that I don’t like as much. Either they are not very “me,” or they are just too silly and impractical, or they are just too “bleh” for me to get on board with. This isn’t written in stone or anything; sometimes the trends grow on me (like this and this), other times they don’t, but, as of now, I’m not really feeling any of the following:

L to R: Chanel Spring 2010, Mary-Kate Olsen wearing clogs

Clogs: I’m sorry, I just don’t get these shoes! They are clunky, not very pretty, and not at all flattering. I’d rather kill my feet in strappy stilettos than wear these, any day!

L to R: Blumarine Fall 2010, Roberto Cavalli Spring 2011

Fringe: And this is in reference to fringed everything (except for hair). I know people are going crazy doing all kinds of “fringe DIYs” right now, but to me this just looks like a very unfortunate encounter with a paper shredder!

L to R: Chanel Fall 2010, Lanvin Fall 2010

Fur Boots: Umm…when they start looking less like shoes and more like bear paws, I think it’s time to step back!

L to R: Thakoon Fall 2010, Prada Fall 2010

Bold Brows: I don’t really have anything against this. I actually like Sonam Kapoor’s thick, rounded eyebrows, even though I know most people hate them! But thin, arched brows just suit me better, so I’m just going to skip this one.

L to R: Giambattista Valli Fall 2010, Prada Fall 2010

Pointy Kitten Heels: I love pointy shoes (provided they aren’t too pointy) and I can somehow make my peace with kitten heels, as well. When they come together though, I can’t help but get reminded of witch shoes. There are exceptions (Hello, you gorgeous little Valentino!), but majority of the time, this style is probably not what shoegasms are made of!

So, what trends are you most likely to skip right now? Do write in, lovelies!

Kisses,

SK
