Have you shopped The Garden Collection by H&M yet? The collection came out last week and is the epitome of spring fashion. If florals, pastels and ruffles are your thing, you better rush to an H&M store pronto, because that stuff is selling like hotcakes! I personally love the youthful, summery vibe of the collection and although it’s pouring out right now, looking at these clothes makes it seem like summer is already here! I loved almost every single piece and found it very hard to decide which ones I wanted the most. Well, not like it really matters now because the best ones fly off the shelves on the very first day. Tell me again why H&M doesn’t have online shopping for US residents yet? It’s the year 2010, how could you not include online shopping in your business model?!?! Honestly, it’s very painful to watch a $40 dress being sold for more than double the price on eBay!
Anyway, enough ranting for today. Take a look at the pieces that I’m lusting for:
I didn’t pick any of the floral ones on purpose, because I have way too many in my closet. Apart from the white rosette dress of course which is an absolute stunner! I couldn’t decide whether I wanted the red or the white, but since I’ve been craving for a little white dress since last summer, I pick the white. I love the top because of the crochet detailing on it; make sure you expand the image to see it. And the khaki shorts and jacket were just irresistible! According to H&M, “The floral looks are inspired by chlorophyll-green gardens, sundrenched landscapes and even 70s hippie chic flower-power.” And here comes the best part – it’s eco-friendly! “The romantic garden collection is made using organic and recycled materials. All the garments have been produced using sustainable materials or using recycled PET bottles or textile waste,” says H&M. This collection is trendy, eco-friendly and it is super duper affordable. You couldn’t possibly ask for more! Except for being able to shop online, maybe?!?! 😉
