Gucci "Kelis" Suede Sandal
These gorgeous sandals from Gucci's Spring 2011 collection have been quite popular this year. Celebrities such as Diane Kruger, Kim Kardashian, and Camilla Belle have been spotted in them (click on their names to see how they wore them), and they have also been covered extensively in various magazine features and editorials (love this one with Kate Moss!). The exotic gold python ankle strap paired with suede and in such fun colors (my favorite ones are the Indian Jade and Orange Python) make these sandals absolutely irresistible. They cost around $995 for the orange python and $795 for the other colors, but unfortunately they are all sold out. Your closest bet are the Gucci Leight T-strap sandals (previously seen here), and they can be purchased from their website, here.
If, however, you do not have hundreds of dollars to spare on shoes and would love a more affordable version of these sandals, look no further than Topshop. The Priti Barely There sandals come without the python details and have an added bow tie, but the combination of suede and metallic combined with an ankle strap and a platform heel reminds me a lot of the Kelis sandal. They don’t look as sturdy as the Gucci ones of course, but I think that’s a small compromise to make.
Topshop Priti Barely There Sandals
As shown above, they come in two colors— peach and green— and they are only 150 dollars, which is an incredible bargain. They are selling out fast though, so head over there pronto and get yourself a pair!
