I have said it before, and I won’t hesitate in saying it again — when it comes to accessories, Forever 21 is my one and only! I just went there yesterday to pick up a few accessories for myself, and while I was at it I also ended up picking up extras for my cousins back in India. I’m a very organized person and usually all my holiday shopping is done way ahead of time, but this year has been especially rough. My dad and sister abruptly planned a trip to India, so we were running around until the last minute trying to get presents for all our relatives. If you are in a similar situation, or are generally just struggling in terms of time or money, or you are just confused about what to get your acquaintances, the easiest solution is to hit your nearest accessories store. You can never go wrong with that! Just pick one store, allocate about 45 minutes, and shop away! I always prefer Forever 21 because at $10 or less, the price is insanely affordable, and also they have a ton of variety to choose from. Check out a couple of my favorite pieces online!
I picked a pair of earrings, a bracelet, and a necklace for each one of my cousins, and since I’ve been feeling extra artsy and crafty these days, I decided to reuse the Furoshiki fabric I had bought for Mother’s Day and wrapped all the presents with it. The wrapping looked soooo cute; I’m kind of kicking myself right now for not taking pictures! Everything was so last minute that they were stuffed in a suitcase as soon as I was done wrapping. 🙁 But if you’re still wrapping up your presents, you ladies just have to try this out! It’s such a fun little DIY, it looks unique and is so much more special than traditional wrapping paper. Here’s the tutorial that I used:
Is this adorable or what?!?! Give it a shot and let me know how it worked out for you.
Here’s wishing you all a fabulous holiday season! 🙂
