I know. It’s the brink of summer when people want to be as naked as publicly acceptable, and here I am writing about pants. Normally as soon as the summer starts, I, too, abandon my jeans and don’t reach out for them until fall, but this year it’s been kind of hard to completely do away with them. From white denim to bright colored ones, from cropped styles to flared, there are just so many ultra fun and stylish options available right now! If you live in a cold place you probably agree that there isn’t much scope for experimenting with pants during the winter. I usually pick skinny jeans in thick denim fabric and tuck them in boots to keep as warm as possible. Some styles are just not practical for the winter, and since most of the trends that I’m seeing right now fall into that category, they are a hot favorite right now.
Lately, I have particularly been attracted towards loud prints, electric colors, and pants that come with subtle details that make all the difference— black trousers that become more relaxed with a gathered waist, skinny cargos that get washed in baby pink for the ultimate blend of utilitarian and feminine, and casual boyfriend pants that are uplifted when in metallic for a more formal and festive vibe.
The best part? On lazy days, when you really don’t feel like putting too much thought into your outfit, these pants are your best bet! Since they are standout pieces, pair them with minimalist tops and blouses and some heels and get going!
