Kate Hudson: Her silver beaded Atelier Versace gown fit her like a glove. From the plunging neckline and the knotted drape to the structured shoulders and cape—this dress was a visual delight from all angles. Her hair and makeup also worked wonderfully with the dress. Her subtle waves were parted at the side and placed strategically on one side so that the dress’s shoulder detail wasn’t hidden, while her smokey eyes perfectly complemented her glossy nude lips, ensuring that her look wasn’t too soft.

Amy Adams: Blue is definitely her color, don’t you think?! She was a vision in her tuxedo-inspired Gucci silk gown. The body-hugging silhouette looked flawless on Amy while the flaps and faux pockets on the dress offered a unique twist. I loved the color contrast that came with her Tiffany earrings and rosy lips!

Lupita Nyong’o: When it comes to pastels, I tend to favor pink, but Lupita has now got me craving some powder blue in my closet! She dazzled on the red carpet in her pleated Prada dress with crystal embellishments and a deep V-neckline. Her gold jewelry, coral lips, and pale pink nails were the perfect accompaniment to her dress as they just popped against the blue. And while every single piece of jewelry that she was wearing from Fred Leighton was lust-worthy, I particularly loved her snake bracelet and vintage rings the most.
I imagined Jennifer Lawrence to be on this list, but I was really disappointed with her look. The fact that she was going to wear Dior was predictable, but everything from the color she chose to the back necklace (and the fall!) was so “been there, done that!” I guess I was just expecting another wow moment from her, and this look just didn’t live up to it.
I’d love to hear about your favorite looks from the night!
xoxo,
SK
