This poster from Aisha really grabbed my attention. It’s got such a free-spirited vibe to it and Sonam’s outfit is so much fun!! I love her polka dot Dior dress with bow belt paired with the neon pink clutch from Jimmy Choo. But what really grabbed my attention were her heart-shaped sunglasses. How cute are those?!?! I’ve wanted a pair like that since I was a little kid! Seriously, don’t they remind you of when cartoons fall in love and hearts pop out of their eyes??? They do, they do!! 😀
Anyway, needless to say I think every girl should own a pair of these! For one, I think it is fun, not to mention important, to unleash your inner child every now and then. I mean who wants to act like a boring, politically correct adult all the time?!?! And secondly, they can totally help when your boyfriend/husband is mad at you. Ok wait, that doesn’t work because boyfriends/husbands barely ever get mad, it’s usually the other way around!! Ok, I got a better one. When you like a pair of shoes and your boyfriend/husband doesn’t let you buy them because, well, as usual you’ve way surpassed your shopping budget for this month, these sunglasses can totally work in convincing him. I mean WHO wouldn’t laugh and think you’re the cutest, silliest thing in the world after seeing you in these, and buy you those pair of shoes?? 😛 (I’m evil, I know!!)
The best part is that I’m seeing these sunglasses everywhere right now and for really cheap. Take a look at some of my favorite ones, below.

In Numerical Order: Abbey Dawn Heart Sunglasses, Juicy Couture Love Your heart sunglasses, Urban Outfitters Sweet Heart Sunglasses, ASOS Multi Coloured Heart Sunglasses, Urban Outfitters Printed Metal Hearts Sunglasses, Blu Moon Heart Shaped Sunglasses
So, are you digging the idea of wearing heart-shaped sunglasses as much as I am, or do you think they are a stupid idea? Tell me what you think, lovelies!
And until next time then, stay childish! 🙂

P.S. – I’m headed to Canada tomorrow and bummed that I won’t get to watch Aisha on the day of its release. But I’m also super excited about the fact that now I’ll be watching it with my boyfriend in India. YAAY!! 😀 We will be watching a movie together after 2 whole years!! I’m so happy; I think I might even do a little bhangra when Gal Mithi Mithi comes! 😛
P.P.S – I decided not to take my heavy laptop (I should really get a netbook!) with me on the trip. Looking forward to reading all your blog posts once I come back!! 🙂
Have Fun on your time away! 🙂 Don’t worry about blogging. We will still be here when you get back.
And about the glasses … I saw those JC ones last weekend. Husband wanted me to buy them but I just couldn’t. I know I would never wear them. I am just-not-fun like that 😛 But you makes excellent points in their favor though!!!
Have fun on ur vacation. Do let me know if Aisha lives up to the expectations it has build up:p I love these glasses but I am not sure if I can carry them of:( Do post a pic of urs, would love to know which pair u bought..
Love the pink ones of course!!!

Loved these cute sunglasses, a definite YESSS to them!
Have lots of fun in Canada 🙂
@ Tanvi; Oh yeah the Juicy Couture ones are expensive..I wouldn’t pay a $100 on sunglasses I’d barely ever wear either…I bought 2 from Urban Outfitters for $10 each. Didn’t need the second ones, but I’m greedy and need 2 of everything for some reason!! 😀
@ Sonali: Promise a picture once I start putting pictures up of myself:)
@ Nuheila @ Dipti @Erica @ Nostalgic — Yay to all you heart-shaped sunglasses supporters!! <3
i just watched Aisha last night…its quite an eye candy if you’re into branded purses and dresses and such…i loved the punju song and dance number at the very end of the movie too!
hope you get to watch it very soon sweets.
I can wear the funky heart-shaped glasses for fun but not for dailywear and all! 😛 🙂
I tried watching Aisha but just.could.not. The fashion scene in it is great but something as superficial as fashion cannot glue me to watching a movie for 3 hours! 🙂 I love Gal mitthi mitthi bol though. 🙂
Have fun in Canada honey! And yes, you should definitely get a netbook, or an iPad! 🙂
@Tamanna: heheh..of course not for daily wear..that would be ridiculous for sure!! This is just for fun, beach, holiday pics, etc!! So Aisha is no good huh?? I thought it would be more than fashion…sad!!
Just discovered your blog today and trawled through a bunch of your posts. Love your posts; they are fun and interesting reads!
Particularly like this post because I recently watched Aisha and thoroughly enjoyed myself. How did you find it?
P.S: I love Sonam as well; she’s just too cute! (:

Hi Arathi..welcome to my blog and thanks for all the nice things you’ve said about my posts. 🙂 I still haven’t seen Aisha and also skipped through the reviews/tweets etc…will be watching it with my bf in India in a week or two! 😀
