A round-up of my favorite looks this week.
WHO, WHAT, WHERE: Olivia Palermo in a white Spring 2011 Marchesa dress with an embellished neckline at the Couple Of The Year event in Hamburg, Germany.
WHY: Well, I’m going to start off by saying I’m not in love with her hair. I like the fact that she went for an updo, but I’m just not fond of that particular style. Nevertheless, she does look beautiful (as usual) and that Marchesa dress is stunning (as usual)! And as I’ve said before, Olivia does look pretty amazing in white.
Her studded clutch gels well with the dress, and as for the shoes, I’m glad she didn’t go for the usual silver or black suspects. When the dress is so beautiful, it’s kind of easy to just let it be the focal point, but, instead, Olivia wears it with equally attention grabbing clutch and shoes. Her sassy red sandals keep things visually interesting and add a fun twist to her look.
WHO, WHAT, WHERE: Camilla Belle in a coral Fall 2011 Alberta Ferretti tiered dress at the Good Housekeeping’s Shine On Awards in NYC.
WHY: What can I say; she had me at the color! I’ve been super obsessed with this color and a few other shades of pink lately (see this post for more), so this look instantly appeals to me. The halter neck detail tied at the side is quite refreshing and I love the effect of the subtle sequins at the bottom of her dress. She pairs the dress with nude ankle strap pumps keeping the look soft and romantic. Her makeup is absolutely flawless as well. Love this look from head to toe!

I love both the dresses but the Olivia’s dress is amazing. Also like that pink color especially for summers.
Actually the dresses aren’t working for me yet but that shade of pink is gorgeous! I love such shades of pink!
