…And I’m back from my hibernation! 😛 You all having a good 2011 so far? I’ve been trying to organize my life after two whole months of shameless splurging and indulgence. No regrets though; it was totally worth it! 😛 But now I think it’s time to get back on track and refocus on work, a healthier lifestyle, and of course blogging! So, as I settle back in, I leave you with a couple things that I’m currently craving. Make sure you click on the image to get a better view!

Mango BLOUSON FCD FIGU, Topshop Coral Bow Front Tee, ASOS Pussy Bow Ruffle Blouse, Nine West Woodland, Seychelles Woodpecker Pump, Pour La Victoire Erna Ballet Flats with Glitter, Oasis Heart Ruffle Dress, FCUK midnight stalks dress, Forever21 Flying Butterflies Top, Victoria Beckham in Marc by Marc Jacobs bow-print dress, River Island Lace Short, Express Floral Ruffled Shorts, ModCloth Chic Shenanigans Shorts, Louis Vuitton Spring 2011, Jill Stuart Spring 2011, Fendi Spring 2011, Scarlett Johansson's new bob cut, Jessica Alba's straight bob cut, Emma Watson's pixie cut
Bow Blouses: Considering my incessant obsession with feminine motifs, I am actually really surprised that I don’t own a single bow blouse. These look great paired with tailored skirts and shorts as well as one of this season’s hottest trend — flared pants. The rich, burgundy color and sheer fabric of the ASOS Pussy Bow Ruffle Blouse (shown above) is just icing on the cake!
Bow Shoes: Especially the big bows in the front, inspired by Louis Vuitton Fall 2010 collection. The ladylike, vintage feel of the Nine West Woodland pumps (shown above) combined with a pointed toe and a chunky heel make it a perfect, cheap alternative to the Louis Vuitton ones.
Cutesy Prints: I love florals, but lately my attention is shifting towards other, super adorable and irresistible prints. Butterflies, hearts, birds, and bows — there is a part of me that just refuses to grow up! 😛
Ultra-feminine Shorts: I tend to tilt towards dresses and skirts, but of late all the feminine detailing (think lace, ruffled, scalloped, crochet) on shorts is totally stealing the show!
Risqué Lips: Be it deep burgundy, neon orange, or fuchsia, I am really looking forward to experimenting with all kinds of crazy lip colors this year.
Short Hair: Short hair is so hot right now; so many celebs have traded their long locks for a short, edgy cut in the past few months. I have had this urge to chop off my hair for a while now, and with a boyfriend who loves short hair on women, it’s kind of hard to not be tempted. Whether or not I’ll go ahead with this is something I guess we will all have to wait and find out.
So, what kind of fashion and beauty cravings has 2011 brought you?
Kisses,
SK
Hi Splurjaa.. wishing you a very happy 2011. M so late to wish you..
Happy new year to you too!! long time…how have you been?
Happy New Year from Morocco!
Nuheila
Thanks Nuheila…happy new year to you too! 🙂
I want Emma’s and SJo’s wardrobe:-)
love 3, 7, 9 10
What I want from spring – anything from Prabal Gurung’s Spring 2011 collection!!
I also like hairbands with bows. The pink shoe is pretty and blouse no. 3 with flares is so 70s
It’s funny how despite being obsessed with bow blouses with french cuffs I do not own a single one of them either. I am planning to get a few tailor made in silk chiffon though. Let’s see how that goes.
Happy New Year.
Look forward to hearing from you
Love

Hi Tashrin…thanks for visiting! 🙂 Will check your blog out soon!!
You said it, You said it all. Items that almost never go off the list! 🙂
I have quite a few bows in my wardrobe but haven’t gotten to shoes yet.
And the boy doesnt like lipsticks or nail colours so I have to be content with the kajal and eye enhancement make up sort of. Not that it hurts at all 😉
Omg..my bf too…he especially hates nail paint! I think most guys are like that…they hate makeup it seems!
I have always been a fan of your taste in clothing and really like all the stuff u post here.
I noticed on your ‘Can’t Get Enough’ page that you like High Heel Confidential, too! Me too! I’m CatGrrl on HHC, as well. Anyway, I am of India descent, are you?
Hi CatGrrl…welcome to my blog! 🙂 HHC is one of the first Indian fashion blogs that I started following…I absolutely love them! And yes although I’ve barely ever lived in India, I’m very much an Indian!
I’ve barely lived in India, too! After six long years, I will go in the summer! 🙂
6 years…wow!! I went last August after 2 years and I thought that was a long time! 😛 Have fun, you!!
