If there is one thing I’ve realized (and perhaps a little later in the day) this past week, it’s the fact that I need a completely different wardrobe for snowy/rainy days! Yup, a couple of days of literally walking at the speed of a tortoise and almost slipping and falling on my face (thank God I didn’t!), and it finally dawned upon me how badly I needed to get myself a pair of rain boots — a purchase I have overlooked all this while, because there are just so many other, more tempting things I would rather spend my money on. Meanwhile, the weather has also made it more than apparent that investing in cheery, colorful umbrellas as well as outerwear in bright, pick-me-up colors and prints is no longer just a desire but becoming a necessity for me. It’s dull and depressing out there, and you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do to stay pepped up and up beat!

In Numerical Order: Fulton Floral Umbrella, ModCloth I Heart Umbrellas, MARC BY MARC JACOBS Jumbled Birds Umbrella, ASOS Square Pattern Blanket Wrap, Guess Whitney Jacket, Boden Tipped sixties coat, Hunter Original Tall Rain Boot, Kamik Ellie Rain Boot, Burberry Nova Painted Heart Rain Boot

What’s your way of coping with the weather?

Kisses,
