This past week has been really rough; I have several assignments to finish, have an exam coming up next week and on top of that, I fell sick. Seriously, there’s nothing worst then falling sick and not being able to rest. I’m hardly even taking any medicines because most meds for a cold make you drowsy and I can’t really afford to sleep all day long right now. Aggh! Oh and it gets better. My boyfriend, the frugalist that he is, decides to go to Kerala on a train with no cell network and has basically been MIA for days. Bummer! 
Ever feel like the distance between you and your bf has increased, even though you two already are in an LDR? Before he left, he laughed at me and said, “You are in NYC, how does it matter if I’m in Delhi or Kerala?” He’s got a good point! But somehow, it does. We’ve got a system in place to keep in touch with each other, but when he’s not in Delhi, all that gets thrown out the window. I mean I’m ok with not talking to him the whole day but I get extremely restless if I don’t get to talk to him a) when I’m going to bed and b) first thing, after I wake up. I’m sure all you girls understand this fixation!
Anyways, yesterday I took Dipti’s advice and even though I didn’t hit the spa, I did decide to relax and kick back with a movie. I definitely needed a break! I watched Avatar again and still loved every bit of it! I secretly wish (ok, not so secretly!) my bf and I were Na’vi and lived on Pandora, away from exams, sickness and all this LDR bullshit! It would be so cool to check out those floating mountains and sleep in hammocks, worship Eywa and get all excited whenever woodsprites hover around us. They would too; I have a pure heart!!:P And oh, oh, I so want my very own ikran. Total awesomeness!

I know EXACTLY what you mean by feeling even more distanced even though you’re already in a ldr. when me and rish started, he was studying in bangalore..and we used to talk soooooo much… whenever he used to go back to Mumbai during holidays..i missed him even more.. cuz he used to be busier there. i remember him laughing at my “You are different in bombay :/”
and once when he went out, he was mia for a day ..no contact. i know what you mean by morningsms/call and night sms/call. it feels very empty without it
yesterday he didn’t send the morningkiss-sms after waking up and i panicked. cuz that never happens.
